Naturopathic doctors undergo a rigorous 4 year post-graduate education in order to bridge modern healthcare and traditional healing methods to create client-specific recommendations. Because of this, they see can a wide variety of conditions during their clinical training which allows them to gain practical hands-on experience before receiving their doctorate degree.

Hazelnut Naturopathic Health evolved out of Dr. Amanda Blandford's desire to make alternative healthcare more available to the greater West Michigan community. As an experienced massage therapist and naturopathic doctor, she offers a unique skill set to help each client reach their health goals. She takes the time to listen to her clients with a first appointment of 90 minutes. Strongly believing in the body's vitality, she knows it has the ability to heal if obstacles to cure are removed. She primarily works with middle-aged and elderly adults though everyone is welcome. Her job is to walk beside her clients to assist them in walking their path to better health naturally.
